Ιωάννης Μπούγας

Ioannis Bougas is a Greek politician and lawyer who has served as a Member of the Hellenic Parliament for Phocis since 2019, having previously held the seat from 2004 to 2009. A member of the New Democracy party, he has served as the General Secretary of the party's parliamentary group since 2021. Earlier in his career, he held the position of Deputy Minister of Development in 2009 and served in local government roles, including as a municipal councillor in Amfissa and a prefectural councillor for Phocis. He is a founding member of the Union of Greek Civil Law Scholars and holds a postgraduate degree in Civil Procedural Law from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
