Giannis Dragasakis

Giannis Dragasakis is a Greek politician and economist who currently serves as a Member of the Hellenic Parliament for the Athens B2 constituency. A prominent figure in the Coalition of the Radical Left (SYRIZA), he previously served as Deputy Prime Minister of Greece from 2015 to 2019. Throughout his long career, he has held various roles, including Alternate Minister of National Economy and Deputy Speaker of the Hellenic Parliament. Known as a key economic strategist for his party, Dragasakis has been a central figure in Greek political life since his initial election to parliament in 1989.
