Geraldo Resende

Geraldo Resende is a Brazilian physician and politician currently serving as a Member of the Chamber of Deputies representing Mato Grosso do Sul. A long-standing figure in regional politics, he previously served as a city councilor in Dourados, a state deputy, and the Secretary of State for Health in Mato Grosso do Sul. Throughout his career, Resende has focused heavily on public health policy, including the defense of vaccination programs, maternal health, and the strengthening of the third sector. He is a graduate of the Federal University of Ceará and completed his medical specialization in gynecology and obstetrics at the University of São Paulo.
