Before his legislative career, he worked as a general manager at Sargent Manufacturing and served as an administrative aide to Waterbury Mayor Neil O'Leary. In addition to his political duties, he has worked as a journalist and photographer for The Waterbury Observer. During his time in the legislature, he has served as the vice chair of the House Commerce Committee and participated as a presidential elector in 2024.
