Gerardo Fernández Noroña

Gerardo Fernández Noroña is a Mexican politician and sociologist currently serving as a Senator of the Republic. A prominent figure in left-wing politics, he previously served as a federal deputy on multiple occasions and was the president of the Senate. Known for his history of civil disobedience and protest-driven activism, he has been a vocal critic of neoliberal policies and electoral fraud in Mexico. He was formerly associated with the Labor Party and the Party of the Democratic Revolution before joining the National Regeneration Movement.
