Gerhard Bachmann

Gerhard Bachmann is an Austrian politician and member of the Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ). He has served as the Mayor of the municipality of Deutsch Jahrndorf since 2012 and has been a member of the Burgenland Landtag since February 2020. Before entering politics, he worked as a master automotive technician and managed a workshop in Vienna. In the Landtag, he serves as a spokesperson for agriculture and forestry and is a member of the committees for European integration and cross-border cooperation.
