Gerhard Köfer

Gerhard Köfer is an Austrian politician currently serving as a member of the Carinthia Landtag and as the mayor of his hometown, Spittal an der Drau. Throughout his career, he has held various political roles, including serving as a member of the National Council and as a provincial government councilor (Landesrat) in Carinthia. Originally a member of the Social Democratic Party (SPÖ), he later joined the Team Stronach party before founding and leading Team Carinthia. Beyond his political career, Köfer has worked as a banker and a gendarmerie officer.
