Gian Carlo Venturini

Gian Carlo Venturini is a Sammarinese politician who has served as Secretary of the Sammarinese Christian Democratic Party since 2017. Born on February 25, 1962, in the City of San Marino, he trained as a laboratory technician at the University of Urbino and worked as an employee of the Institute for Social Security. A long-serving member of the Grand and General Council first elected in 1993, he has twice held the highest office of Captain Regent of San Marino, serving his terms from 1996 to 1997 and again in 2021. Throughout his political career, he has also held several ministerial posts within the Congress of State, including Secretary of State for Health and Social Security, Secretary of State for Labor and Cooperation, Secretary of State for the Territory and the Environment, and Secretary of State for Internal Affairs.
