Ginny Andersen is a New Zealand politician who has served as a Member of Parliament since 2017. A member of the Labour Party, she previously held several ministerial portfolios, including Minister of Police and Minister of Justice, during the Sixth Labour Government. Before entering politics, she worked as a policy unit manager for the New Zealand Police and as a political adviser. Her legislative work includes the successful passage of the Holidays (Bereavement Leave for Miscarriage) Amendment Bill.
