Glenn van Dijken is a Canadian politician serving as a Member of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta for the district of Athabasca-Barrhead-Westlock. First elected in 2019 and re-elected in 2023, he currently serves as the Parliamentary Secretary for Agrifood Development and holds various committee roles, including Chair of the Standing Committee on Alberta's Economic Future. Before entering politics, he was a grain farmer in Dapp, Alberta, and was recognized as an Outstanding Young Farmer in 2001. Politically, he has advocated for provincial autonomy and introduced legislation aimed at restricting the ownership of agricultural land by large investment firms.
