Gloria Inés Ramírez

Gloria Ines Ramirez is a Colombian politician, trade unionist, and professor who served as the Minister of Labour from 2022 to 2025 under President Gustavo Petro. A member of the Colombian Communist Party, she previously served as a Senator of Colombia from 2006 to 2014 and was a prominent leader within trade union organizations such as the Colombian Federation of Educators and the Workers Central Union. Throughout her legislative and ministerial career, she has been a staunch advocate for workers' rights, gender equality, and social justice.
