Goran Vesić

Goran Vesić is a Serbian politician who served as the Minister of Construction, Transport, and Infrastructure from 2022 to 2024. A member of the Serbian Progressive Party, he previously held significant roles in Belgrade's municipal government, including serving as Deputy Mayor from 2018 to 2022 and City Manager from 2014 to 2018. Earlier in his career, he was a member of the Democratic Party and served in the National Assembly of Serbia. Vesić resigned from his ministerial post in November 2024 following the tragic railway station canopy collapse in Novi Sad, for which he was briefly detained before all charges were eventually dropped in December 2025.
