Gordon Wasserman, Baron Wasserman

Gordon Wasserman, Baron Wasserman is a British life peer and member of the House of Lords. Born in Canada, he was educated at McGill University and New College, Oxford, as a Rhodes Scholar. He served as a civil servant in the UK Home Office for many years, focusing on social policy and policing, and later acted as a consultant on public sector management and police technology. He served as the Government Adviser on Policing and Criminal Justice from 2010 to 2012 and was created a life peer in 2011. He currently sits as a non-affiliated member of the House of Lords.
