Graham Kirkham, Baron Kirkham

Graham Kirkham, Baron Kirkham is a British businessman and life peer who serves as a member of the House of Lords. He is best known as the founder of the furniture retailer DFS, which he built from a small operation into a major national chain. A prominent financial supporter of the Conservative Party, he was knighted in 1996 and created a life peer in 1999. Beyond his business career, Lord Kirkham is actively involved in charitable work, particularly as the Chairman of Trustees for The Duke of Edinburgh's Award.
