Gregory Lloyd Campbell is a British politician and a long-serving member of the Democratic Unionist Party (DUP). He has served as the Member of Parliament for East Londonderry since 2001 and is currently Northern Ireland's longest-serving MP. Throughout his career, he has held various roles, including Minister of Regional Development and Minister of Culture, Arts and Leisure in the Northern Ireland Executive. Known for his staunch unionist views, Campbell has been a vocal opponent of an Irish Language Act and has frequently engaged in controversial public debates regarding social and cultural issues. In 2024, he was appointed a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) for his parliamentary and public service.
