Guðrún Hafsteinsdóttir

Guðrún Hafsteinsdóttir is an Icelandic politician and business leader who has served as a Member of the Althing for the South Constituency since 2021. She previously held the position of Minister of Justice from 2023 to 2024. In March 2025, she was elected as the chair of the Independence Party. Before entering national politics, she held various management roles within her family's company, Kjörís ehf., and served on the boards of several organizations, including the Confederation of Icelandic Enterprise.
