Guadalupe Mendoza Arias

Guadalupe Araceli Mendoza Arias is a Mexican politician currently serving as a federal deputy for the 9th district of Michoacán, representing the 2024–2027 legislative period. Initially a member of the Green Ecologist Party of Mexico, she transitioned to independent politics and became a prominent figure in the 'Movimiento del Sombrero' (Hat Movement) in Uruapan. Before her election to the Chamber of Deputies, she worked as a stylist, merchant, and sewing workshop owner. Her political platform emphasizes independent participation outside of traditional party structures.
