Gurinder Josan

Gurinder Singh Josan is a British politician serving as the Member of Parliament for Smethwick since the 2024 general election. A member of the Labour Party, he previously served on the Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council from 2002 to 2010 and held positions on Labour's National Executive Committee. Josan is a former trustee of the HOPE Not Hate charitable trust and has been involved in policing and crime oversight in the West Midlands. In 2019, he was appointed a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) for his political service.
