Hamad Amar

Hamad Amar is an Israeli Druze politician currently serving as a member of the Knesset for the Yisrael Beiteinu party. Born in Shefa-Amr, he served in the Israel Defense Forces before entering local politics and eventually national office in 2009. Throughout his career, he has focused on Druze community empowerment, clean energy initiatives, and regional diplomacy, including coordinating historic visits for Syrian Druze. He previously served as a Minister in the Finance Ministry from 2021 to 2022, where he led significant investment programs for Druze and Circassian communities.
