Oded Forer is an Israeli politician currently serving as a member of the Knesset for the Yisrael Beiteinu party. Born in Rehovot, he previously served as the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development and Minister for the Development of the Periphery, the Negev and the Galilee from 2021 to 2022. Before his legislative career, Forer worked as a political consultant and served as the Director-General of the Ministry of Immigrant Absorption. He is known for his legislative work, including the successful passage of a bill to phase out battery cages for egg-laying hens.
