Hana-Rāwhiti Maipi-Clarke is a New Zealand politician who has served as a Member of Parliament for the Hauraki-Waikato electorate since 2023. Elected at age 21, she became the youngest MP in New Zealand in 170 years. A member of Te Pāti Māori, she is a prominent advocate for Māori rights, food sovereignty, and environmental conservation. Maipi-Clarke gained international attention in 2024 for leading a haka in Parliament to protest the Treaty Principles Bill.
