Hannah Spencer

Hannah Spencer is a British politician and tradesperson serving as the Member of Parliament for Gorton and Denton since February 2026. A former plumber and gas engineer, she previously served as a councillor on Trafford Council from 2023 to 2026. Spencer is the first Green Party member to win a parliamentary by-election in the United Kingdom. Her political platform focuses on addressing the cost-of-living crisis, advocating for a £15 minimum wage, rent controls, and environmental sustainability, while also campaigning against greyhound racing.
