Mike Tapp

Mike Tapp is a British Labour Party politician serving as the Member of Parliament for Dover and Deal since 2024. He also serves as the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Migration and Citizenship. Before entering politics, Tapp had a distinguished career in the Intelligence Corps, completing three tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, followed by roles at the National Crime Agency and the Ministry of Defence. Politically, he has focused on national security and foreign policy, notably serving as an honorary vice-chair of Labour Friends of Israel and advocating for conditional recognition of Palestinian statehood.
