Hans Ubachs

Hans Ubachs is a Dutch politician and administrator who served as the mayor of Best from 2017 until his resignation in February 2025 due to health reasons. A member of the D66 party, he previously held various local government roles, including council member and alderman in the municipalities of Onderbanken and Schinnen. He also served as the mayor of Laarbeek from 2011 to 2015 and as the acting mayor of Gulpen-Wittem in 2016. Before his political career, Ubachs worked as an account manager in the private and public sectors.
