Heath Flora

Heath Flora is an American politician currently serving as a member of the California State Assembly, representing the northern San Joaquin Valley. First elected in 2016, he has focused on issues such as firefighter training and property tax reform. In September 2025, he assumed the role of Minority Leader for the Assembly Republican Caucus. Prior to his legislative career, Flora worked as a firefighter with the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection and as a business owner. His tenure has been marked by both legislative activity and public scrutiny regarding his campaign expenditures and personal conduct.
