Heather Boyd is an American politician serving as a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 163rd district. Elected in a 2023 special election, she played a pivotal role in maintaining the Democratic Party's majority in the state house. Prior to her legislative career, Boyd worked as a history and art history teacher and served on the Upper Darby School Board from 2015 to 2018. She also held professional roles as chief of staff to State Representative Leanne Krueger and as a senior advisor to Congresswoman Mary Gay Scanlon. In the state legislature, she serves on the Game & Fisheries, Health, and Labor & Industry committees.
