Hedwig Tarner is a German politician representing Alliance 90/The Greens. She currently serves as a member of the Landtag of North Rhine-Westphalia, having been elected to the position in 2022. Previously, she served in the same legislative body from 1995 to 2000 and was a member of the Warendorf city council between 1989 and 1991. Tarner studied geography at the Free University of Berlin and the University of Münster. In 2009, she was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit for her contributions.
