Hege Bae Nyholt

Hege Bae Nyholt is a Norwegian politician and child welfare officer who has served as a member of the Storting for Sør-Trøndelag since 2021. Representing the Red Party, she made history as the party's first committee chair in parliament, leading the Standing Committee on Education and Research. Before entering national politics, she spent seventeen years working in the kindergarten sector. Her policy focus includes advocating for non-profit childcare services and educational reform.
