Heidy Purga

Heidy Purga is an Estonian politician, journalist, and television presenter who currently serves as the Minister of Culture. Before entering politics, she built a notable career in media, working as a producer, editor, and presenter for various radio and television channels, including her role as the producer of the song contest Eesti Laul from 2008 to 2015. Purga has been a member of the Estonian Reform Party since 2014 and previously served as a member of the XIII and XIV Riigikogu. She was sworn in as Minister of Culture in April 2023.
