Heiko Strohmann is a German politician and a long-serving member of the Bremische Bürgerschaft, having held his seat since 1999. Born in Rostock, he grew up in the former East Germany before moving to Bremen in 1989. In addition to his parliamentary duties, he has served as the state chairman of the CDU Bremen since 2023 and previously led the CDU parliamentary group from 2021 to 2023. Outside of his political career, he is an entrepreneur who founded a chain of pretzel bakeries and has been active in local sports leadership.
