Hekuran Murati

Hekuran Murati is a Kosovar economist and politician currently serving as the Minister of Finance, Labor and Transfers. Before entering politics, he worked in civil service and business consultancy, gaining recognition for his critical research on public-sector management. He joined the Vetëvendosje movement in 2019 and was elected to the Assembly of Kosovo that same year. As a minister, he is known for his focus on fiscal prudence, the implementation of welfare benefits for families, and efforts to reform customs infrastructure.
