Helen Hayes

Helen Elizabeth Hayes is a British Labour Party politician who has served as the Member of Parliament for Dulwich and West Norwood since 2015. Before entering national politics, she worked as a town planner and served as a councillor for the College ward of Southwark Council. In September 2024, she was elected as the chair of the House of Commons Education Select Committee. Throughout her parliamentary career, she has held various frontbench roles, including Shadow Minister for Children and Early Years, and has been an active participant in committees focused on housing and local government.
