Helga Ahrer

Helga Ahrer is an Austrian politician and member of the Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ). Since 2010, she has served as a member of the Landtag of Styria, and in December 2024, she assumed the role of Third President of the Landtag. In addition to her parliamentary duties, she is a municipal councilor in Leoben and holds various leadership positions within the SPÖ at the state and local levels. Professionally, she has worked for the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) and currently serves as the state secretary of the trade union vida in Styria.
