Helmut Kleebank

Helmut Kleebank is a German politician and former teacher who has served as a member of the Bundestag since 2021, representing the Berlin-Spandau – Charlottenburg North district. Prior to his parliamentary career, he held the position of mayor of Spandau from 2011 to 2021. In the Bundestag, he is a member of the Committee on Climate Action and Energy and the Committee on the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection. He also chairs the Parliamentary Advisory Board on Sustainable Development and is associated with the Parliamentary Left, a left-wing movement within the Social Democratic Party.
