Hermann Escarrá

Hermann Escarrá is a Venezuelan lawyer, university professor, and politician currently serving as a member of the National Assembly. A graduate of the Central University of Venezuela, he initially identified with the Christian democratic movement and the COPEI party before undergoing a significant political shift. After years of vocal opposition to the government of Hugo Chávez, he became a prominent legal advisor and constitutional collaborator for the Chavista movement following the rise of Nicolás Maduro. He has served in multiple constituent assemblies and is known for his work on constitutional law and his involvement in various government-led dialogue commissions.
