Herwig Seiser is an Austrian politician and member of the Carinthia Landtag. Born in 1960 in St. Veit an der Glan, he has been a long-serving representative for the Social Democratic Party (SPÖ) in the Carinthian state parliament since 2004. Throughout his career, he has held various local political positions, including serving as the First Deputy Mayor of Feldkirchen. From 2008 until 2026, he served as the chairman of the SPÖ parliamentary group in the Landtag, playing a significant role in regional social democratic policy.
