Hetav Tek

Hetav Tek is a German politician of Kurdish descent who has served as a member of the Bremische Bürgerschaft since June 2023. Born in Mahabad, Iran, she moved to Germany as a refugee and grew up in Wuppertal. Before entering parliament, she worked as a cultural and language mediator, a political manager for the Kurdistan Culture and Relief Association, and a family support worker. Within the CDU Bremen, she has focused on social integration and equal opportunity. She is also active in various youth and integration organizations, including the German Federal Youth Council and the German Table Tennis Association.
