金澤秀三郎

Hidesaburo Kanazawa is a Japanese politician and businessman currently serving as the Mayor of Unzen City in Nagasaki Prefecture. Born in 1960 in the town of Obama (now part of Unzen), he previously served as the representative director of the confectionery company Obama Shokuryo. Kanazawa began his political career as a member of the Nagasaki Prefectural Assembly, serving two terms. He was first elected Mayor of Unzen in 2013 and has since secured four consecutive terms, most recently winning re-election in December 2024.
