Hirokazu Kajino is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Oda City in Shimane Prefecture. Born in Shizuma-cho, Oda, he graduated from the Tottori University Faculty of Engineering in 1978. Before entering politics, he had a long career in the Shimane Prefectural Government, where he held various senior positions including Director of the General Affairs Department and Director of the Western Prefectural Center. He retired from the prefectural government in 2015 and served as Vice Chairman of the Shimane Industrial Promotion Foundation. Kajino was first elected as Mayor of Oda in 2017 and has since been re-elected to the position.
