松尾崇

Takashi Matsuo is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Kamakura City, a position he has held since 2009. Born in Kamakura, he graduated from Nihon University before working for Nippon Express. He began his political career as a member of the Kamakura City Council in 2001 and later served as a member of the Kanagawa Prefectural Assembly. Throughout his tenure as mayor, he has focused on local economic support, including rent subsidies for small businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the implementation of a partnership oath system for same-sex couples. He is known for his active involvement in local festivals and his interest in historical figures such as Uesugi Yozan.
