松野博一

Hirokazu Matsuno is a veteran Japanese politician serving as a member of the House of Representatives for the 10th term. A graduate of Waseda University and the Matsushita Institute of Government and Management, he entered politics through an open recruitment system. Throughout his career, he has held significant government positions, including Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology and Chief Cabinet Secretary under the Kishida administration. Known for his focus on education policy and conservative views, he was a key figure in the Abe faction before facing scrutiny regarding political funding irregularities in 2023. Despite these challenges, he remains an active lawmaker and currently serves as the Director of the Liberal Democratic Party's Organization and Campaign Headquarters.
