長浜博行

Hiroyuki Nagahama is a Japanese politician serving as a member of the House of Councillors and the Chairperson of the House of Councillors Committee on the Constitution. A graduate of Waseda University and a member of the Matsushita Institute of Government and Management, he previously served as the Minister of the Environment, Minister of State for Nuclear Disaster Prevention, and Deputy Chief Cabinet Secretary. Throughout his career, he has held various leadership roles within the Democratic Party of Japan and the Constitutional Democratic Party, including serving as the 33rd Vice President of the House of Councillors. Nagahama is known for his opposition to constitutional revision, particularly Article 9, and supports policies such as selective separate surnames for married couples.
