松本尚

Hisashi Matsumoto is a Japanese politician and physician serving as a member of the House of Representatives and Minister of Digital Affairs. A graduate of Kanazawa University School of Medicine and holder of an MBA from Anglia Ruskin University, he built a distinguished career as a pioneering flight doctor and emergency medical specialist, serving as professor at Nippon Medical School and vice director of the Nippon Medical School Chiba Hokusou Hospital. Entering politics with the Liberal Democratic Party, he was first elected to the House of Representatives in 2021, subsequently holding parliamentary secretary positions in defense and foreign affairs before being appointed to the cabinet.
