Holger Hentschel is a German politician and a member of the Landtag of Saxony, representing the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party. Born in 1985 in Leipzig, he served as a professional soldier in the German Air Force from 2006 to 2014 before earning a Bachelor of Science in economics from the University of Leipzig. Hentschel has been a member of the Leipzig City Council since 2014 and was first elected to the state parliament in 2019. He currently chairs the Budget and Finance Committee in the Landtag.
