Hugh Jones is an Australian politician and former Royal Australian Navy Lieutenant Commander. Born in Wales, he moved to Australia in 1978 and later served in the military for several years. He began his political career as a councillor for the City of Armadale in 2019. In 2021, he was elected to the Western Australian Legislative Assembly representing the electorate of Darling Range, where he was subsequently re-elected in 2025. He is a member of the Australian Labor Party.
