황병직

Hwang Byeong-jik is a South Korean politician currently serving as the 9th Mayor of Yeongju, North Gyeongsang Province, having assumed office in July 2026. Prior to his mayoral tenure, he served two terms as a member of the Yeongju City Council from 2006 to 2014 and two terms as a member of the North Gyeongsang Provincial Council from 2014 to 2022. During his time in the provincial assembly, he held the position of Chairman of the Culture and Environment Committee. His career also includes experience as a member of the Criminal Mediation Committee for the Andong Branch of the Daegu District Prosecutors' Office.
