Ian Brossat

Ian Brossat is a French politician serving as a Senator for Paris since 2023. A long-time member of the French Communist Party (PCF), he previously served as a Deputy Mayor of Paris from 2014 to 2023, where he was responsible for housing and emergency accommodation. Throughout his career, Brossat has been a vocal advocate for social housing, the regulation of short-term rental platforms like Airbnb, and progressive taxation. He has also held leadership roles within the PCF, including serving as a national spokesperson.
