Ibrahim Kanaan

Ibrahim Kanaan is a Lebanese politician and lawyer who has served as a long-standing Member of Parliament for the Metn district. Educated in law at Saint Joseph University and Paris II Panthéon-Assas University, he began his career as a legal consultant and international partner in London before returning to Lebanese politics. A former prominent figure in the Free Patriotic Movement, he resigned from the party in 2024 citing internal disagreements. He remains an active advocate for national economic reform, frequently engaging with international financial institutions to address Lebanon's fiscal challenges.
