Ida Auken

Ida Auken is a Danish politician and member of the Folketing, representing the Social Democrats. She has served in parliament since 2007 and previously held the position of Minister for the Environment from 2011 to 2014. Auken is a theologian by training, having graduated from the University of Copenhagen, and is also an ordained priest in the Church of Denmark. Throughout her career, she has been active in policy areas including sustainability, food, and agriculture, and has served as chair of the Gender Equality Committee in the Danish Parliament.
