Peter Rahbæk Juel

Peter Rahbæk Juel is a Danish politician serving as the Mayor of Odense since January 1, 2017. A member of the Social Democrats, he has been active in local politics since 2006, previously serving as a member of the Odense City Council and as an alderman for the Social and Labor Market Administration. Before his mayoral tenure, he held various roles within the party and local government, including political spokesperson. He holds a bachelor's degree in history and social studies from the University of Southern Denmark. In addition to his mayoral duties, he serves as the vice-chairman of Local Government Denmark (KL).
